LUXURY SUITE

Storytelling has always been the foundation of my design work whether I am designing women’s eveningwear, handbags, interiors, furniture, lighting, fabrics or rugs. My process is always to research my client’s lifestyle, history, and aspirations and weave those into the design story. This skill works equally well for a fashion collection, hotel, or a private home. Great design begins with a great story!

This luxury suite is one of the few that became both biography and autobiography. My client and I discovered so many shared core values, our obsession with nature, our desire for tranquility and peace, and our embrace of gracious living. I believe grace is embodied by this room from it healing colors to it use of family heirlooms, antiques, original works of art, and easy comfortable furniture.  I also love the scale, the striped ceiling, and the abundance of natural light. I have threatened to move in after I retire!
