HATS! The Neglected Fashion Accessory

I have always had an obsession with hats. Those of you that know me personally know that my own collection of hats is, well….tremendous, multifaceted, and yes….obsessive! I simply don’t feel dressed until I select the appropriate hat style, color, and fabric. I live in hats, except when protocol requires going hatless. High Mass, Weddings, and Funerals make that very short list. Otherwise etiquette be damned I’m living in my hats. 

When I think about the most beautiful women in history, particularly film stars we all love such as Audrey Hepburn or Grace Kelly, I invariably remember them in Hats. Here are a few of the best hat designers and their exquisite creations.  If you’re not wearing hats yet, I urge you to find your style. Once you find the silhouette that flatters your facial architecture, you’ll share my mantra that you’re never fully dressed without a Hat!
